Pedegree for Grouse Point's Luscious Lexy

Lexy was whelped 08/09/2004. She is out of a NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeders Award litter, sired by INT CH/VC Feld jaeger Klaus MH bred to Eleven Hills Reno Belle. This was Belle's second Natural Ability Breeder Award litter.

Lexy began her testing career at the Minnesota chapter of NAVHDA in June of 2005. She earned a prize II in natural ability on a day when the birds were wet and not flying and she ran big. We had to circle and hunt the field twice, she really tore it up. I believe she had 8 or 9 finds in the 20 minute field portion of the test. She was tested in utility at the St. Croix chapter in Sept of 2007, here she also earned a prize II. She had a great duck search that day scoring maximum points there. She did come up a little short on her steadiness that day. Since then I have used Lexy as a guide dog on ruffed grouse and woodcock in Wisconsin. She has also hunted pheasant, prairie grouse, and hungarians in the Dakota's and has become a very solid wild bird dog. In december of 2009 I hunted her and Tank together quite a bit and they were very good together on the pheasants of South Dakota.

In May of 2007 we ran Lexy in the International show ring in Hutchinson, Minnesota. There she scored 4 v-1 ratings and earned her International Show Champion title.

Her first litter of pups, sired by INT CH/VC Herbst Briese Adelwolf MH, has earned a NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeders Award. The pups tested from that litter averaged 107 out of 112 possible points in thier natural ability tests. Lexy's second litter will be tested in the summer of 2010, we expect more good things from these pups.

Lexy's second litter, sired by INT CH/VC Dankar's Haupt von Ebenbildt MH has also earned an NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeders Award. This litter averaged 106 in thier NA tests.

Pups from Lexy's third litter, sired by INT CH/VC Feldjaeger's Sherman MH, will be tested in the summer of 2011. This litter became her third NAVHDA Natural Ability Breeder Award litter.
