Gun Dog Training
Grouse Point Kennels is a full service/full time gun dog training facility. I am now only taking a select number of dogs, please contact for availability. We specialize in the pointing/versatile breeds. We train and handle for NAVHDA and AKC pointing dog hunt tests. Our goal is to produce only the very best gun dogs that we would be proud to hunt over. We design a program around you and your dog and work with you to become a team.

Your dog will be well taken care of and will be fed a performance dog food. High quality dog food is a must for dogs that hunt and compete. When necessary they will also get the best of veterinary care by DVM Brian Woods and his staff at The Rice Lake Animal Hospital. Your dog will be keep in a clean and well maintained kennel run. All the runs are equipped with Kuranda Dog Beds. We have two, 4000 sq. ft. fenced in exercise yards, where the dogs get to run and socialize several times every day. We have nearly 40 acres of training fields adjacent to the kennels where your dog will receive some their training. There is also a pond on the property that is excellent for water work. I will also have your dog at other off property training fields and ponds as well. It is important for your hunting dog to see many different scenarios during his training process.
